Alexandra Shipp proudly came out in 2021 as a member of the LGBTQ+ community! The actress took to Instagram to admit that for 28 years, she has been struggling with her sexuality and femininity.
“I was scared no one would ever love me,” the actress wrote. “It’s exhausting chasing other people’s ideas and opinions of who you should be,” she added.
Furthermore, Alexandra also claimed that as she came out, it showed the world that she was “not scared anymore.”
“I’m happy in ways I don’t think my kid self could imagine,” Alexandra shared. “I have #pride in who I am and what I’m doing on this planet,” she concluded.
