Dermot Mulroney married movie producer Tharita Cesaroni in 2008, a year after his divorce from his first wife was finalized.
The couple was blessed with two beautiful daughters, Mabel Ray and Sally. In an interview with Closer Weekly, the actor revealed that he’s happy with his current state of life.
“There’s a lot of time I’ve missed, but I know I’ve done everything in my power to make up for it or be fully absorbed in fathering when I’m there,” he revealed. “I’m so happy to be where I am,” the actor added.
Dermot and his wife are relatively private about their life, which is understandable considering they have two little children, but they also occasionally take time to attend movie premieres together.
For example, Tharita was there by her husband’s side during the premiere of Secret Invasion.
Who Is Dermot Mulroney’s First Wife?
Before Tharita Cesaroni, Dermot was married to fellow actress Catherine Keener in 1990. The pair were married for 17 years and shared a son, Clyde.
Unfortunately, their romance wasn’t meant to be, as they legally separated in 2005 and eventually filed for divorce two years later. According to Extra, Dermot cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
While it was sad that they had to separate, at least Dermot and Catherine split amicably! The pair reportedly finalized their divorce through mediation without needing an attorney.
They also agreed on a settlement agreement and joint custody of Clyde. While the settlement agreement was confidential, one point was revealed: neither Dermot nor Catherine had to pay for child and spousal support.
